The correct answer is – Special Olympics offers over 32 Olympic-style individual and team sports that provide meaningful training and competition opportunities for persons with intellectual disabilities.

These are the sports represented worldwide, and each Program offers a variety of these sports to their athletes. For example, one Program may offer bowling and basketball, while another may offer swimming, equestrian, tennis and volleyball – or another figure skating, alpine skiing and snowshoeing – each Special Olympics Program is unique in the sports that they offer throughout the year – and in the competitions and tournament schedules that they hold.
